Brianwoods

Hi. My name is Ken. I'm a member of SCBWI. I'm your tour guide into Brianwoods, a blog dedicated to my children's writing endeavors. Thanks for stopping by.

Just for a minute, close your eyes and imagine you're walking along a forest trail. Listen to the forest animals, as they call out to greet you. Welcome to Brianwoods!

This blog includes some of my other writing and details on my published materials.

Writing Momentum

My Merriam-Webster dictionary defines momentum as a property that a moving body has due to its mass and motion. I imagine my college physics book has a very similar definition. Anyway, I've been lacking motivation to write lately. I definitely have mass, tipping the scales at about 168 lbs. I also have been in motion plenty since I run and walk a lot too. But I lack writing momentum. How is that possible? Well it's quite simple. I need to simply write.  And then I need to find those things that are an impediment to my writing and find a way around them. I really enjoy writing and I believe I just have to keep at it. Doesn't this sound like a pep talk. Perhaps I needed one.
